About Alexis
Alexis brings a dynamic and diverse background to her role at Primetrics, with experience spanning investment banking, adventure tourism, deep-tech, water-tech, aquaculture, and venture capital. Her career reflects a balance of analytical rigor and entrepreneurial vision, underscored by her ability to lead, build, and grow impactful ventures.
Among her proudest achievements, Alexis has built a company from the ground up, expanding it across the U.S. and Europe; earned a prestigious fellowship with the Beneficial State Foundation following her MS in Finance degree; and founded Portland State Impact Ventures while completing her graduate studies. She and her colleagues sought to learn and understand the investment framework that encompasses environmental and social performances in its metrics, to work towards how capitalism plays a role in addressing some of the most pressing issues. Again, one of her biggest accomplishments in her career has been that the program continues to evolve and shape the next generation of finance students.
When faced with challenges, Alexis draws on her optimism, sharp analytical thinking, and talent for fostering enduring relationships. These qualities have shaped her leadership style and fueled her success in business development, customer service, and strategic financial management.
At Primetrics, Alexis is excited to help clients leverage their financial data to inform strategy, drive growth, and achieve both short- and long-term goals. In her dual role as a fractional CFO and business development lead, she will support Primetrics’ clients while expanding the firm’s presence across the western U.S.
Alexis began her academic journey at UC Santa Barbara before completing her undergraduate degree in Political, Legal, and Economic Analysis at Mills College, where she also served as Vice President of the student body and Vice President of the Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity. She went on to earn her MBA from the Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business at Mills and later an MS in Finance from Portland State University.

- Alexis has sailed down the Nile River in Egypt in fashion on a traditional Dahabiya sailboat, an experience of a lifetime, enjoying each moment.
- Imagine living in Italy; now imagine doing so on three different occasions, an opportunity Alexis has enjoyed each time.
- The Lower Andes, Patagonia, and Machu Picchu, all places where Alexis has had the opportunity to trek, pedal, kayak, hike, and even horseback ride.
- When Alexis is in the PNW, she takes the time to cycle, hike, and ski with her family on some of their favorite trails.
