We are seeking a tech-savvy accounting student for an Accounting Staff Intern position. This role is designed for someone seeking meaningful exposure to the profession’s future. The position includes a steep learning curve and hands-on experience in the intersection of accounting, advisory services, cloud technology, and artificial intelligence.
Position Summary
The Accounting Staff Intern will support the Primetrics client service team in delivering accounting and operational support to multiple clients. This individual will gain exposure to modern accounting workflows, financial systems, process improvement, and technology-enabled advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
Support accounting and financial operations for multiple clients
Assist with transaction coding, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Work within cloud-based accounting and finance applications
Help document and improve accounting procedures and workflows
Support implementation of new processes and controls
Contribute to the delivery of accurate, timely, and organized financial information
Qualifications
Current student pursuing a degree in accounting or related field
Strong interest in technology and its role in the future of accounting
High level of curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
