About Adam
With more than 20 years of experience and a master’s degree in professional accountancy under his belt, it’s fair to say that Adam knows his stuff. What distinguishes him is not merely his technical expertise, but rather his proficiency in engaging with business owners, explaining complex concepts, and providing clarity. He empathizes deeply with business owners’ challenges, understands various industries comprehensively, and excels in helping clients navigate intricate business issues.
Adam Turco founded Primetrics in 2014 to bring approachable, high-impact advisory services to small and mid-sized businesses across Oregon and Washington. Having climbed the corporate ladder to become Chief Audit Executive for a public company, Adam chose to channel his skills into helping entrepreneurs thrive. He’s been in your shoes, dealing with cash flow puzzles, growth challenges and operational kinks, so he gets what keeps you up at night.
Adam’s ability to blend accounting, economics, and technology into tailored solutions isn’t just talk – it’s how he leads. From overseeing firm operations and supporting the firm’s CFO and accounting teams to managing technology partnerships and guiding clients through onboarding and strategic planning, he’s all in.

Beyond client work, Adam mentors his team, contributes to the broader CPA profession, and gives back through community involvement. He serves on the finance council at Holy Redeemer Parish and School, teaches due diligence and investment for the Oregon Entrepreneurial Network’s tech cohort, and advises startups through Portland-area accelerators. Originally from Lewistown, Montana, Adam now lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife and two sons. He earned bachelor’s degrees in economics and accounting and a master’s degree in professional accountancy from the University of Montana. Endlessly curious, especially about science, technology, and cosmology, his superpower is his ability to find nearly everything interesting and always find something new to explore.
